Cookie policy
Functional storage only
This site uses no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. What it stores exists so the site works for you:
- When you sign in, a cookie named ps_user keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your browser sends it only to this site over a secure connection, scripts on the page cannot read it, and signing out ends it.
- In your browser's storage, the light or dark appearance you chose (spreads.appearance.v1).
- In your browser's storage, your preferences (spreads.prefs.v1): the unit you read figures in, your lot size, the last instrument you viewed, whether live updates are paused, and your watchlist.
- In your browser's storage, the challenge plans you save in the challenge planner, 12 at most (ps_challenge_scenarios_v1).
- In your browser's storage, to decide when to suggest installing the site: the times of your visits in the last 14 days, 10 at most (ps.visits.v1), that this visit is counted (ps.visit.v1, gone when the tab closes), and when you last chose Not now (ps.install-suggested.v1).
- In your browser's storage, which of your account's notification devices this browser is (ps.alerts.device.v1), so the alerts page can name it, and when it last told your account it still gets notifications, at most once a day (ps.alerts.refreshed.v1).
- Where you allow notifications, the subscription your browser keeps with its push service; turning notifications off on the alerts page or in the browser, or signing out, ends it.
- On www.propspread.com, copies of the site's files and of the pages you open, so they open quickly and without a connection (caches named ps-precache-v1, ps-pages-v1 and ps-images-v1: the 50 most recent pages, and the 60 most recent pictures for up to 30 days). Your account and alerts pages are never kept.
- Only for testing on a preview address, whether the app's offline copies are switched on there (ps.sw.v1).
What that means for consent
Everything stored is functional, so there is nothing optional to opt out of and the site does not ask. Page counts set no cookie and store nothing in your browser (the privacy policy explains them). If analytics or marketing storage is ever added, this policy will be updated first and the site will ask for your consent before any such storage is set.
Controlling storage
You can clear or block storage for this site at any time in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and resets your preferences and your watchlist; the site keeps working otherwise.
