Institutional Funding spread statistics and trading costs.
Independent spread measurement for Institutional Funding across EUR/USD, GBP/USD, Gold (XAU/USD), US Tech 100 (NAS100), GER40 (DAX). PropSpread observes bid and ask quotes from Institutional Funding's own trading feed, converts every spread to dollars per one-lot round turn with the published commission included, and compares it against the other monitored firms.
What this page shows
- Live spreads. Current bid/ask spreads per instrument, sampled continuously while each market is open, with honest data-source labels.
- Historical spread statistics. Observed averages, medians and percentiles over completed periods, time-weighted and restricted to market-open hours, with the observation count and coverage stated beside every figure.
- Estimated trading costs. The observed spread combined with Institutional Funding's commission schedule, as an estimated round turn per lot. An estimate derived from measurement, never a realized execution cost.
- Monitored-provider comparisons. Where a period meets PropSpread's eligibility requirements, Institutional Funding is ranked against the other monitored firms and shown against their average. Where it does not, the reason is stated instead of the figure.
Historical data and coverage
View live and historical spread data, trading costs, and monitored-provider comparisons as PropSpread's verified dataset becomes available. Historical statistics are published for a period only once that period has been fully observed, its feed verified as continuously live, and its market-open coverage cleared against the published floor. Until a period qualifies, the profile reports how much history has been collected rather than estimating the rest.
Measured spreads, last completed week
No completed period for this firm currently meets PropSpread's publication requirements, so no historical figure is shown. That is a statement about the evidence, not about the firm: a period is published only once its feed is verified, its market-open coverage clears the bar and its confidence grade is high enough. The dataset methodology sets out every requirement.
Published commission model
- FX: $3.00 per one-lot round turn.
- METAL: $3.00 per one-lot round turn.
- INDEX: $0.00 per one-lot round turn.
Commission figures come from the firm's published terms. Per-instrument spread figures, session averages, historical statistics and charts load with the application on this page; none of them are baked into this document beyond the completed-period table above, which is frozen to a closed week and therefore cannot go stale against the live feed.
Compare Institutional Funding
Cheapest by instrument
Institutional Funding is the firm PropSpread's operators run. That is the first thing to know about this page, so it is the first sentence. The board tracks IF with the same pipeline, the same commission math and the same publication rules as every competitor, and nothing on this site lets the house firm skip a check the others must pass. Where that discipline currently leaves IF with less published data than its rivals, this page says so.
PropSpread summary
IF's feed is sampled continuously and normalized to dollars per one-lot round turn exactly like the rest of the board. Historical statistics on this site pass through a publication gate that requires verified, bias-checked measurement windows before a number becomes public; at this writing that gate approves none of IF's historical windows, so the historical sections of this page render their honest empty state rather than unverified figures. Live samples appear as the feed produces them, labelled with their data source.

PropSpread Score
The PropSpread Score is computed by the same engine for every firm, house firm included, from published methodology. No commercial relationship, including ownership itself, changes an input; the methodology page discloses which inputs are verified and which are still being built out.
Institutional FundingHow the score is computedScore loads with the application.Engine-computed from the published, versioned methodology; input coverage and verification status are disclosed on the methodology page. Commercial relationships never affect scores.
Measured spreads
Current spread and session average per instrument, next to the Average Prop Firm composite, the median of the named competitor feeds we sample. If IF's row reads wider than the middle of the market at the hour you trade, that is the number this site exists to show you, whoever owns it.

Trading costs
The firm's published FAQ, checked August 19, 2026, states a 3.00 US dollar round-turn commission per lot on FX, metals and indices. The board's cost model applies that figure on FX and metals; on index CFDs the board currently models no commission, which is lower than the firm's own published schedule, so treat index cost figures for IF on this site as understating the published charge. The worked example below uses the modelled schedule against the current sampled spread.

Evaluation and account structure
The published record, from the firm's site and Participation Agreement as checked on August 19, 2026: account sizes from 10,000 to 200,000 dollars including a 150,000 tier, a profit split starting at 70 percent with a published ceiling of 100, payout requests processed within two business days, and a funded-phase consistency rule under which no single trading day may account for more than 20 percent of total profit. Execution and MT5 infrastructure run through TRDX, which holds an FSCA licence (FSP 53738); IF itself holds no licence of its own. The facts section on this page renders this record with its checked date, and renders "Not provided" where the record is silent.
- Recorded rules: news trading is allowed; high-frequency trading and copy trading are recorded as not allowed. Rules not in the record are neither confirmed nor denied here.
- The 20 percent single-day consistency rule is a real constraint for burst-style traders: a single outsized day can make an otherwise-passing account non-compliant.
- Cost control is risk control here as everywhere: spread and commission paid are drawdown spent.
Verify current terms
Fees, targets, drawdown definitions, split tiers and the consistency rule are the firm's published terms and can change. Confirm them on institutional-funding.com before buying an evaluation. PropSpread measures pricing; it does not mirror rulebooks — and that applies to the house firm too.
Where Institutional Funding is strong
- A published two-business-day payout processing commitment, faster on paper than the cycle-based schedules most rivals publish.
- The lowest modelled round-turn commission on this board at 3 dollars per lot on FX and metals.
- Execution infrastructure through a named, FSCA-licensed counterparty rather than an undisclosed one.
Trade-offs to weigh
- The obvious one: this site and this firm share an operator. The mitigation is structural — one pipeline, one score engine, one publication gate for everyone — but the conflict of interest is real and you should weigh it, not ignore it.
- No gate-approved historical windows yet: IF's historical spread statistics are unpublished on this site until its measurement windows pass the same verification every firm needs. A firm that cannot yet show you its own verified history has to earn that trust forward.
- A shorter public record than the established firms: less third-party documentation, fewer published process details, no licence of its own.
Who it may suit
Traders for whom commission is the deciding line item, and traders who value fast payout processing over a long institutional track record. Traders whose strategy concentrates profit into single large days should read the consistency rule carefully before paying. And a reader who discounts this page because of who runs it is reading it exactly as intended: check the measured table, check the competitors, and let the numbers decide.
Alternatives and comparisons
Every IF head-to-head on this site renders the same measured evidence and published facts as any other pair, including the absences. The FTMO comparison is the natural benchmark against the market's most established operator.
How this data is made
Spread figures are indicative snapshots sampled from connected feeds, ranked over a rolling window so no single tick decides a leader. Costs add each firm's round-turn commission at the stated lot size. Commission schedules for FTMO, FundingPips and FundedNext are read from each firm's own published terms and were last checked on 2026-08-08. Institutional Funding carries a placeholder schedule that no published source confirms. Schedules vary by account type and product, so confirm the terms of the account you would actually trade. Figures are not tradable quotes, fills vary by account and session, and the data-source label on every module tells you whether you are looking at demonstration or live account data.

Frequently asked
PropSpread runs this firm. Why should I trust this page?
You should not trust it on our word; you should trust the structure. Every figure comes from the same pipeline, score engine and publication gate as every competitor, the gate currently withholds IF's historical statistics because its windows are not yet verified, and this page says so. A site willing to publish its own firm's absences is showing you the mechanism, not asking for faith.
Why does Institutional Funding show less historical data than other firms?
Historical statistics publish only from measurement windows that pass verification and bias checks. IF's windows have not yet passed, so the gate withholds them — the same rule that governs every firm on the board, applied without exemption to the house firm.
Are the commission figures official?
The firm's published FAQ states 3 dollars round turn per lot on FX, metals and indices, checked August 19, 2026. The board's model applies that on FX and metals and currently models indices commission-free, which understates the published index charge; verify the current schedule on the firm's site before relying on it.
Does the PropSpread Score favour Institutional Funding?
The score is computed by the same published-methodology engine for every firm, and the methodology page discloses which inputs are verified. Ownership is not an input.
This tool provides an indicative comparison of spreads and estimated execution costs based on periodic snapshots from connected data feeds and normalized trade assumptions. Displayed values are not tradable quotes and may differ from prices available on any provider's live accounts. Spreads vary by account type, server, liquidity conditions, and time of day. Competitor names and marks belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. The "Average Prop Firm" benchmark is a computed composite of sampled competitor feeds, not the published pricing of any specific firm. Cost estimates use a normalized trade scenario and do not constitute financial advice or a prediction of trading results.
