Prop firm spread reports.
A recurring publication of trading conditions measured independently by PropSpread. Each edition reports observed spreads, estimated trading costs and how they moved from one period to the next across the monitored prop firms, from PropSpread's own continuous observations rather than from firms' published figures.
Every published edition.
Each edition renders one immutable statistical snapshot and keeps its URL forever.
No edition has been published yet. PropSpread began continuous historical collection recently, and a report is published only once a complete period has been observed, verified and reviewed.
A period qualifies when every reported firm’s feed has been verified as continuously live, market-open coverage clears the published floor, and the firms share enough of the window for a like-for-like comparison. The first edition will appear here when a period meets all three.
What each report contains.
The same six blocks in every issue, so one edition can be cited without reading the others.
- Observed average, median and 95th-percentile spreads for every monitored firm and instrument.
- A ranking per instrument, with any firm held out of it listed alongside the reason.
- Estimated round-turn cost combining the observed spread with each firm’s commission schedule.
- Period-over-period movement, reported only where it clears a published significance threshold.
- Coverage, observation counts and confidence grades beside every figure.
- The intraday profile: which UTC hours were tightest and widest.
Measured independently by PropSpread from live provider quote feeds. Historical averages are time-weighted, cover market-open hours only, and exclude invalid and non-advancing observations. View methodology
This tool provides an indicative comparison of spreads and estimated execution costs based on periodic snapshots from connected data feeds and normalized trade assumptions. Displayed values are not tradable quotes and may differ from prices available on any provider's live accounts. Spreads vary by account type, server, liquidity conditions, and time of day. Competitor names and marks belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. The "Average Prop Firm" benchmark is a computed composite of sampled competitor feeds, not the published pricing of any specific firm. Cost estimates use a normalized trade scenario and do not constitute financial advice or a prediction of trading results.
