Trader share = target x split percent, before any fees or resets. Split figures come from each firm's terms; the ones on this site are placeholders.

How it is computed

The target in dollars is the account size times the target percent. Dividing by your average winner in dollars gives the number of net winning trades it takes, and applying the profit split shows what the same target pays you rather than the account.

FAQ

Asked about this calculator.

Short answers in the same plain arithmetic the calculator uses.

Is the split applied during the challenge phase?

No. Evaluation profits are simulated and unpaid; the split applies once funded. The calculator shows both readings so the difference is visible before you pay a fee.

What is a realistic time frame for a target?

That depends entirely on your trade frequency and expectancy. The pass probability calculator on this site simulates exactly that question, including the days it typically takes.

Do consistency rules change the picture?

Often, yes. Some firms cap how much of the target one day may contribute, which effectively raises the number of trading days required. Read the firm's rule text; the calculators price arithmetic, not fine print.

This tool provides an indicative comparison of spreads and estimated execution costs based on periodic snapshots from connected data feeds and normalized trade assumptions. Displayed values are not tradable quotes and may differ from prices available on any provider's live accounts. Spreads vary by account type, server, liquidity conditions, and time of day. Competitor names and marks belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. The "Average Prop Firm" benchmark is a computed composite of sampled competitor feeds, not the published pricing of any specific firm. Cost estimates use a normalized trade scenario and do not constitute financial advice or a prediction of trading results.
